Excellent transitional play, offensive minded, knows when to join the rush and assist his team in the offensive zone. Good passer, with a high success rate. Heavy slapshot and precise wrister. Dynamic on the power play. Not afraid to enter deeply the O zone. Big guy not specifically known to be physical.

Weaknesses: very prone to errors defensively. Low hockey IQ in his zone. Slapshot can often miss the net.
