Centerman with a high-end vision (anticipation and reading of plays) that makes him one of the most dangerous forwards in his group. His smarts (decision makings) are off the charts and combined with his skills he is a constant threat on the ice. Hands are smooth as silk and will dizzy his opponents with plays that seemed anything but possible. Skating is good (edges, speed) and will bring him where he needs to be. Shot is lethal and often jaw dropping. Incredibly unpredictable on the power plays, he drives it like a maestro in an orchestra. Will pinch in defensively.

Weaknesses: lack of acceleration on first steps. Will likely be more effective on the wing at the NHL level.

Ses mains sont extrêmement souples et peut étourdir ses adversaires avec des jeux qui paraissaient impossibles. Coup de patin est bon (adhérence sur glace, vitesse) et va l’amener où il veut être. Son lancer est mortel et souvent surprenant. Très imprévisible sur l’avantage numérique, il en prend responsabilité tel un chef d’orchestre. Va aider défensivement.

Faiblesses: devra améliorer son accélération sur ses premières enjambées. Pourrait devenir plus efficace à l’aile.
