Left winger who played center in the Slovanian league with good vision (offensive vision, heads up) and good hockey smarts (positioning, execution), skating is solid but with limitations, hands are agile with slap shot being his main weapon, his puck possession is solid, strong work along the boards. During the power play he is usually posted along the left half wall ready to unleash his one-timer. Defensively and physically implicated.

Weaknesses: Skating stride seems heavy at times, this prevents him often to regain the play and be at the right place. Playmaking skills are limited due to a lack of anticipation. Defensively sound but he’ll need to work on that aspect. Will need some time to develop before the NHL.

One of the youngest player of the draft. Played with the exceptional Shane Wright at Kingston.

Ailier gauche qui a oeuvré au centre dans la ligue Slovaque avec bonne vision de jeu (vision offensive, garde la tête haute) et bon QI hockey (positionnement, exécution), coup de patin est solide avec limitations, ses mains sont agiles avec son lancer sur réception étant son meilleur atout, une forte possession de rondelle et un travail solide le long de la bande. Durant l’avantage numérique il est utilisé majoritairement le long de la bande gauche (au demi-cercle) afin de pouvoir décocher ses tirs sur réception. Il est défensivement et physiquement impliqué.

Faiblesses: coup de patin me parait lourd et semble le ralentir afin de pouvoir se déplacer où il veut. Ses talents de fabricant de jeux sont limités dû à un manque de vision (anticipation). Défensivement il est solide mais devra néanmoins travailler sur cet aspect. Longue progression à prévoir.

Un des joueurs les plus jeunes du repêchage. Évolue à Kingston avec l’exceptionnel Shane Wright.
