Attaquant avec un excellent coup de patin, forte accélération et pivots rapides. Il ne sera pas celui qui feintera pour entrer en zone adverse mais plutôt y aller avec une passe. Possède des mains souples et rapides, ainsi qu’un excellent lancer des poignets, décoché rapidement et avec précision. Très fort en possession de rondelle ainsi que le long des bandes. Sur l’avantage numérique il aime se poster le long des bandes pour se placer en position de marquer. Très fiable défensivement, il travaille avec acharnement pour soutenir ses coéquipiers. Hargneux sur l’échec-avant et pour récupérer des rondelles libres.

Faiblesses: pourrait user de plus de créativité en zone offensive. Avec plus de maturité physique il deviendra encore plus solide dans son jeu.

Forward with an excellent skating stride, strong acceleration and quick pivots. Olausson won’t be the one to enter the O zone with dekes more one who will make it with a pass. Hands are soft and quick, and an excellent wrister which is accurate with a fast release. Very strong in puck protection and along the boards. On the power play he likes to post himself along the half walls to create scoring chances. Very reliable defensively he will back check and work hard to help his teammates. Also dynamic on the forecheck and good in puck takeaways.

Weaknesses: could be more creative offensively. With physical maturity his game will become more solid.
