Il m’a pris une période afin de considérer Isaac Howard comme un de mes préférés de ce repêchage. On remarque au début un coup de patin franc sans être le plus rapide sauf qu’il compense largement par sa vision et son intelligence au jeu. Isaac se dirige là où le jeu va ce qui lui donne une longueur d’avance. Sa vitesse d’exécution est rapide et sauf quand il veut manier la rondelle elle quitte son baton aussitôt qu’elle arrive. Son lancer est fort et précis, dégainé sans hésitations. Sur l’avantage numérique il anticipe et exécute de la même façon, surtout au flanc droit. Son positionnement défensif est solide, il appuie positivement son équipe dans sa zone. Pas le plus physique sans toutefois reculer devant le jeu robuste et oeuvrer fréquemment dans l’enclave adverse.

Howard va devenir un atout pour sa prochaine équipe!

It took me a period of play to consider Isaac Howard as one of my favorite player for the upcoming draft, We notice from the beginning a honest skating stride without being the fastest we’ve seen. He compensates largely by his vision and hockey smarts. Isaac goes where the puck goes, which gives him a head distance before others. His execution is quick and the puck leaves his stick as soon as he gets it that is when he doesn’t try to make a play with it. His shot is hard and accurate, with a quick release. On the power play he anticipates a lot and executes the same way, without hesitations, mostly on the right half boards. Defensive positioning is solid he is an asset in his zone. Not the most physical player but he won’t back down from hard plays and will work in the tough areas.

Howard will become an asset for his next team!
