2004 SHL

Ses débuts plutôt modestes dans la SHL ne sont pas tout à fait révélateurs. Son jeu est structuré par contre on sent l’hésitation dans l’exécution. Un attaquant dynamique avec un sens de l’anticipation et fier de son jeu défensif. Il se porte avec ardeur à l’échec-avant afin de mettre de la pression à la défensive adverse et foncer au filet, sa spécialité. Avec ses mains rapides Il est avant tout un compteur sans toutefois renier des talents de passeur. Il protège bien la rondelle. Il aime lancer sans trop d’avertissements au filet adverse. Dans sa zone il défend bien son territoire et ne se compromet que très rarement. Malgré ses 5’11 il semble jouer plus gros que sa stature. Quand sa confiance sera rétablie je lui promets une production plus prolifique.

Il a encore beaucoup de progression à donner étant un joueur né en juillet et malgré cette donne il a déjà son poste dans la SHL. Un potentiel qui rapportera plus que le rang où il sera repêché.

Modest beginnings in the SHL don’t tell everything. There is structure in his play but we sense some hesitation in the execution. A dynamic forward with good anticipation proud of his defensive play he will forecheck with energy as to pressure the enemy defense and charge the net, his strong asset. With quick hands he is foremost a scorer without neglecting his playmaking abilities. He will shoot without much warnings. In his zone he will defend with strong positioning without being lured by the puck. He plays a bigger game than his 5’11 might suggest. When his confidence will be back I see a most prolific production coming his way.

Being a july birthday he has a lot of progress to show with his position already locked in the SHL. A player who will give more imo than the rank where he’ll be taken.
