Est-ce dire que les équipes n'ont pas confiance que les petits défenseurs deviennent des joueurs importants dans la LNH?
Est-ce que ça veut dire que Lane Hutson n'a pas la valeur que l'on pense qu'il a (ex.: échanger Hutson contre choix top15, etc.)?

Le type de défenseur que tu vas chercher comme agent libre après ses 20 ans comme ils ont fait avec Xhekaj.
Je ne comprends pas l’idée de repêcher des joueurs de profondeur.
@paul-bernier Bonne question. Parce qu'ils pensaient qu'une autres équipes le repêcherait? Ils doivent l'aimer beaucoup...
Le CH a eu une excellente première ronde, Demidov va leur amener de l’offensive à un niveau élite.
Hage va pivoter leur 3e trio avec Newhook et Roy.
Le reste du repêchage ils se sont comportés comme une gang de gars chauds le lendemain d’une brosse qui lance des darts un peu partout sauf sur le tableau.
Je pourrais parier fort probablement à 99% aucuns de leurs choix passés la première ne feront le club.
Avoir transigé pour s’avancer et ramasser un Emery aurait consolidé leur côté droit pour les 15 prochaines années.
Faut croire qu’ils se sentaient arrivés avec le choix de Demidov ou ils pensent que Guhle puisse faire aussi bien à droite. Une ronde bien jouée et un manque de professionnalisme pour le reste.
Pourquoi avoir laissé passé Poirier et Romani pour des illustres obscures?
J’ai aucune appréciation et encore moins de compréhension!
Le CH repêche Aatos Koivu avec le 70e choix (danslescoulisses.com)
Scouting report from Eliteprospects head of European scouting Lassi Alanen:
«Koivu is in many ways a traditional centreman. He makes sensible decisions with his positioning, always providing defenders and wingers with a pass option into the centre and supports his teammates well in all situations. The toolbox also includes one of the best shots on this list (of Finnish prospects), which makes Koivu a real threat from the left wing, especially on the power play. His repertoire includes a heavy and accurate one-timer as well as the ability to surprise goalkeepers with an inside-foot wrist shot.
However, it has to be said that Koivu was not yet a dominant player at U20 level. He had great difficulty breaking through to the centre ice at times and into prime goal-scoring areas with either passes or dekes, which led to long rotations in the corners and on the perimeter. The reasons for this can be found, at least in part, in his skating, where he provides a handicap for almost every foward ranked higher on this list. Last season's points tally at U20 level (31 in 28 games) is certainly flattering, but more than half of Koivu's goals and points came on the power play, which can be seen as something of a red flag.
But for Koivu, it is above all about what he could be in a few years' time, given how much progress he has made in the last year. It is possible that his ranking in this list will look silly even in the short term if things continue to develop as they did last year.»

Pris sur HF Boards : «He is a late bloomer because of injuries and after that, a late growth spurt giving him 20 centimeters in the last 1½ years or so. At some point he was 180cm and 57kg ( 5'9 and 125lbs) which is obviously really skinny. Toolbox is there but right now missing the tools. Could be a gem of a pick.»
Ajout: J'ai lu qu'en plus de son bon tir, un bon coup de patin, il est très fort sur le cercle des mises en jeu.
Un choix intrigant pour la connexion, mais avec Demidov dans notre besace les autres choix perdent un peu d'intérêt... 😀
C'est le coup de chance qu'on attendait et il est enfin arrivé. Je commençais à trouver la présentation de Céline un peu longue et ardue, mais quel punch à la fin quand elle annonce Demidov !

Suis certain que le CH comme tous les autres clubs vont regretter d'avoir passé par dessus Poirier et Romani
VAN a été chercher Romani avec un choix de 6e ronde. MTL aurait pu au lieu de repêcher un D de 3e paire.
Poirier en CAR idem ici. Je l’aurais préféré aux inconnus qui n’auront probablement aucune carrière LNH.
